Nice battle rep, Arjan and congratz with your victory! Not that I would expect anything different from you against those pansy elves ;-) Hopefully this succesfull tactical maneuver was a one-off and you will be back to your normal self next time we play (lolz)

BTW I feel honored to be mentioned. Good news is that the MIA gobbo's have returned! They where in the bottom of a moving box beneath a pile of Dewi's shoeboxes. So if they are a bit cheesy you know who to blame :P

Hello! I agree with the opinions in the mordheim group: I think it looks too big. Maybe with a tiny ornament would look better.

Aesthetically, both the options look OK to me. Furthermore, the option of recycling old troops is an attractive one.
However, the meaning of the word 'matriarch' (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/matriarch) shows that that such an exceptional female cannot have male elements on top of her. A better position for the Knight in this case would be at the Matriarch's feet.

First things first - there's a damn fine fellow who's one of your Friends at the top right of your blog...hehehe

I'm not sure whether the "pimped" Matriarch is good or not...it's a nice idea, but seems too big & over-weighting the model. I think that headgear is one of those conversion/modelling areas where "less is more" - in effect, it's *really* hard to suspend disbelief in realtion to headgear - if it looks like it would be difficult to wear /would make you fall over/ would hit every doorway on the way through, then it's probably overdone...

It's a nice paintjob as it is - not sure if the "pimped" version is needed?!

We met at Call to Arms if you remember. That was a good weekend :-)I am starting to get excited about the EuroGT in March next year. I have been promising myself to get to one for several years (Harrald F keeps asking me). Maybe next year as it is in the UK.
